  • Fresh salmon fillet 1.5 lbs
  • All-purpose flour ½ cup
  • Garlic powder 1 tsp
  • Paprika 1 tsp
  • Sea salt ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ¼ tsp
  • For the Pan:
  • Olive oil 3 tbsp
  • Fresh lemon 1 medium

Step 1: Prepare the Salmon

  • Pat salmon completely dry with paper towels. Cut into 1-inch cubes, removing any visible bones. To be honest with you, uniform pieces cook more evenly and look more professional on the plate.

Step 2: Create the Coating Mix

  • Combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in mixing bowl. This seasoning blend transforms ordinary salmon into restaurant-quality bites.

Step 3: Coat the Salmon Pieces

  • Toss salmon cubes gently in flour mixture until evenly coated. Don’t overwork them – gentle handling keeps the fish tender.

Step 4: Heat the Pan

  • Warm olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. The oil should shimmer but not smoke. Simply put, proper temperature is everything here.

Step 5: Sear the Salmon Bites

Step 6: Flip and Finish
