  • Honey
  • Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • Flour
  • Eggs & milk
  • Garlic powder paprika, salt, and pepper

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prep the Chicken

  • Pat your chicken dry. Always start dry. It helps the batter stick better. Cut into even strips. Season lightly with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of garlic powder

Step 2: Mix the Batter

  • Whisk eggs and milk together. In another bowl, combine flour, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dip each piece of chicken first in the wet mix, then coat it in the flour.

Step 3: Heat the Oil

  • Pour about two inches of oil into a deep skillet. Heat it to 350°F. Too hot? You’ll burn the coating.

Step 4: Fry the Chicken

  • Drop the coated pieces in carefully. Don’t crowd them. Let them cook for 4–6 minutes until golden brown.

Step 5: Make the Honey Chipotle Sauce

  • In a small saucepan, combine honey, chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, butter, and vinegar. Stir on low heat until smooth and glossy.

Step 6: Coat and Serve

  • Toss the crispy chicken in the warm sauce until every piece glows amber. Or serve it on the side if you like dipping.
